Sport England is delighted to be the the main funding partner of the 2012 School Games Finals. It is fantastic that young people will be able to compete in the Olympic Stadium, Aquatics Centre and Velodrome ahead of the 2012 Games.

Sport England is focused on the delivery of Places People Play, a mass-participation legacy from the 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. We invest National Lottery and Exchequer funding in organisations and projects that will grow and sustain participation in grassroots sport and create opportunities for people to excel at their chosen sport. We act as advocates for community sport - bringing together a wide range of partners from local and national government, the commercial sector, further and higher education to the third sector and helping them to make the most of their investment in sport.
