The table tennis teams for the Sainsbury's 2012 School Games have been selected following regional and national talent development programmes in each of the home nations.
Harriet Taylor, fifteen-years-old from London, is due to compete in the table tennis for the England South East team. She said: "I am very excited and feel privileged to be invited to compete in this event, I am looking forward to it and cannot wait to feel the atmosphere of playing against players from Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
"I hope to perform to my highest standards and move forward in my dreams of becoming a future Olympian myself."
ExCeL will also host badminton, wheelchair basketball, volleyball, judo, gymnastics and fencing at the Sainsbury's 2012 School Games.
